Based on Mustang Miracle by Humberto G. Garcia, this real life story of triumph over adversity sees district superintendent JB Peña put together a team of Mexican-American highschool, amateur golfers to make it to the state tournament and play on the course he has been shut out of due to his race. But in 1955 in Del Rio, TX, there's a lot more on the line than a country club membership. The boys have something to prove to their close minded community with the deck stacked against them.
