FilmScene in the Park is an outdoor cinema built in partnership with the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department located at Chauncey Swan Park. Regular Screenings between May and October highlight a diversity of all ages programming.

FilmScene at The Chauncey is connected to the Chauncey Swan Parking Ramp. There are multiple other downtown ramps within a short walk. A full map of downtown parking ramps is available here.
Chauncey Swan ramp parking and metered parking along the streets downtown are free after 6:00pm and all day on Sundays.
Admission is free and open to the public. Seating is first-come-first-served for all screenings, with movies beginning at sunset unless otherwise indicated.
FilmScene in the Park is made possible by the transformative Strengthen Grow Evolve campaign, a collaboration with The Englert Theatre, and The City of Iowa City’s Annual Park Improvement and Economic Development funds. This cooperative project supports the goals of both FilmScene and Iowa City Parks & Recreation.
