A Community Collaborations Event
Presented in partnership with Iowa City Free Medical Clinic
A fly-on-the-wall documentary following P.J. Parmar, a medical doctor, and founder of Mango House, the largest shared space for refugees in Colorado and the greater west. Mango House includes a medical clinic, dental clinic, shops, food court, event spaces and Scout Troops for boys and girls. Run for, and by, refugees, it’s a safe haven for refugees to feel at home and to thrive. As Dr. Parmar and his team navigate the spread of COVID-19 in early 2020, Mango House's team and community lift each other up, a vital resource in a community otherwise overlooked by the healthcare industry.
