Begun in 2016, the International ScreenDance Festival, was Founded and directed by University of Iowa professor and choreographer Eloy Barragan, The festival's mission is to expand access to the arts, advance education, engage with Iowa City community, and embrace artistic films from all over the world creating an equitable and inclusive global community.
The festival features two sections, both open to submissions through FilmFreeway. The festival takes place annually in August.
