FilmScene is excited to partner with the Iowa City Downtown District and the Bijou Film Board for a series of outdoor films in Iowa City’s Northside neighborhood.

FilmStreet is five weeks of blockbuster favorites in the open air, socially distanced, in the heart of the city—and completely free!

Starting next Friday, July 31st, the series will start just after sunset in the newly closed area on the 200 Block of N. Linn Street.

Safety is our first priority. Seating is first-come-first-serve and due to the pandemic, once all available seats or marked spaces are accounted for, the maximum capacity will be reached.

Groups should seat themselves together and attendees are encouraged to bring seats. Masks will be required on site for all. Northside businesses will be open at the start of the film, so grab a snack and enjoy!

A 15-minute preshow will begin at sunset.

WHAT TO KNOW

• Seating will be arranged for the film one hour before the film starts, and guests are welcome to claim a space. All seating is first-come-first-served.
