Technicolor of Love

"One of the most audacious films ever made...both awesome and intimate, suggesting that a single tear shed for love might stop heaven in its tracks."—Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

New 4K Restoration!

Squadron Leader Peter Carter (David Niven) of the Royal Air Force has ordered his men to jump from their burning bomber knowing full well his parachute will not get him out safely. But when his guide to the next world misses him in the thick English fog, Peter miraculously survives the jump and falls in love with the American Air Force radio operator he had poured his heart out to as his plane was going down. Now he must make the case for staying alive before the celestial court. This WWII fantasy romance sees the directing duo who were arguably the masters of Technicolor early in their careers playing with the form, prompting film critic Stephanie Zacharek to call it, "imaginative to the point of being hallucinatory, one of the most out-there pictures of the last century."
